A Note From Marlise
I hope you’ve had a wonderful beginning of the year and are transitioning back to “regular life” as comfortably, happy, and healthy as possible!
I am writing you to let you in on some changes that are happening at the salon. Before getting into that, I’d like to give you a little backstory of what’s been happening with me in the past few weeks. Unfortunately my health has been suffering and due to a stomach ulcer, I’ve landed in the ER twice and been in and out of my medical provider’s facility. There are many factors contributing to my health issues, but more importantly, there are a lot of things that need to change to improve my health to ensure a long, healthy, happy career doing what I love.
With that being said, we have some very exciting changes that will allow me to better balance my schedule and timing, will assist with overall in-salon experience, and have you leave with the best result possible!
Moving forward I will be focusing solely on my 2 biggest passions that are lived-in hair color & extensions. Starting immediately I will be offering all of my color and cut appointments in packages. This way it streamlines the booking process making things a lot easier on your side and easier to manage my time on my side. I will no longer take be taking root touchups, toners, haircuts, etc. If you’d like to have your hair cut, or roots done with me, I’d be more than happy to do so at our next lightening service appointment!
Our goal at Glossed is to create a happy & healthy space for both employees and guests alike. So naturally the next full time stylist growing in our space is Chelsey! Tori will be soon to follow! Both extremely talented and knowledgeable stylists who’ll be able to assist you with your hair needs as my service menu changes. To accommodate any appointment requests, we’ve opened up additional appointment times. If you’re unable to find a time that works for, please feel free to reach out!
Any appointments currently on the schedule will be honored as such, but any new appointments booked will be through the new format. If you’d like to upgrade your service to a new package prior to your next appointment, just let us know and we can definitely do that! I understand this can be an adjustment, so I appreciate your patience as I navigate this new way of business/life.
Our new menu and pricing was created with the the idea that all who step into our salon will step out with the best hair possible in all aspects and feeling just as good! All packages include the entire color service, haircut, and K18 reparative treatment. We will also have a customized product recommendation list tailored to each guests hair needs. So you’ll be set with at-home care as well. The WHOLE package! The pricing also reflects the increase in overhead, product cost, and cost of living. I encourage you to take a look at our new menu as it was very exciting to curate this experience for you!
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continual support throughout the years. Your support, encouragement, and love has been vital to my growth as a stylist as well as a person. I am so blessed to have you and hope to welcome you to our new salon experience soon!
